I'm looking for the title to a fanfic I read. Specifics as I remember them:
- HG forces presiding judge into an Unbreakable Vow that the trial will be fair and impartial and Snape won't be railroaded into a conviction.
- Percy nearly OD's Snape with Veritaserum.
- HG acts as Snapes lead counsel (Defense advocate)???
- AD's pensive brought to courtroom (and possibly his portrait??)
- HP portrayed in an unflattering light - called a hypocrite on more than once
My overall impression of the story is one of a fierce defense of Snape's actions and exposure of JKR's fundamental duplicity in her treatment of SS compared to HP.
Thanks in Advance.

I've just finished (re)reading it. This is the story I was looking for. Thank you so much. And you are right - it is an awesome story!
On a related note - the subject of which I will call "The Defence of Snape," I remember reading an LJ essay which for all intents and purposes took JKR to task for her shoddy treatment of Snape. It talked about how HP et al essentially got away with murder with no consequences while Snape paid with his life for his one BIG mistake, and how the "good looking" people all came away smelling like roses while the "ugly" ones like Snape (JKR's opinion of SS - not mine), got shafted.
This is probably not a good or thorough description, but if anyone knows the LJ I'm talking about, could you provide a link.
Thanks so much
