During GoF, were exams for the students suspended? I keep looking through the book to try and find out, but must be looking straight past it.
Thanks in advance. |

Students participating in the Triwizard Tournament did not have to take exams, but all of the other students did. They finished their exams on the day of the final task. In chapter thirty-one Hermione says that Harry shouldn't worry about her and Ron helping to prepare him for the final task rather than studying for their exams. Ron also talks about his History of Magic exam over lunch: "Couldn't remember all the goblin rebels' names, so I invented a few...they're all called stuff like Bodrod the Bearded and Urg the Unclean; it wasn't hard." (From the Harry Potter Lexicon) |
