This was possibly a Marriage Law fic. In it, one of Severus's Slytherin students was the daughter of a Death Eater and was afraid to go home. Hermione polyjuiced herself to look like the girl (her name may have been Emily or something similar) and went home in her place. The girl's mother figured out what was going on and helped Hermione.
