Greetings.
Looking for a fic I found and then lost again. It's set a few years after the Final Battle and Hermione is working at the Ministry dealing with Potions accidents (I believe). She responds to a call on the Hogwarts Express platform wherein a poison-laced candy has asphyxiated several Muggleborn students. She has taken it for analysis and is working with Snape to find an antidote.
As a side note, she's moved to the outskirts of Hogsmeade to be closer to the rest of the magical world. Her supervisor is an older wizard, and her direct colleague is a woman a few years her senior to whom she has introduced Ron.
This fic was posted on another forum (and now I can't find the forum! Aargh!) and I re-found it, but this comp doesn't have the same bookmarks and so it's not on here. I'm confused. |

hehe.
I have intermittenly been looking. Unfortunately, to no avail. I will keep trying though.
Do you know wether it was on the Sycophant Hex site(s). If so, were Snape and Hermione romantically involved or was it just a platonic relationship.
Do you possibly have any idea who the author was even if its just a "sounds like" or a few letters.
Any additional help you can supply will be hugely appreciated and helpful.

As for a "sounds like", I think the title is the name of a potion.
Severus and Hermione have not yet entered into a romantic relationship, but seem to be developing a strong friendship. And, as the tale was as yet unfinished, there could be something deeper developing--loriann, any word? |

| I think this might be one of those disappearing stories... (ie one where the author has taken it down and no trace of it can be found). I know I looked for it, and others too, without any success. |
