Hey everyone, I'm looking for a story I read a long time ago and loved!! I've lost all my links to my stories so I'm hoping you can help.

Hermione finds out that she is not a muggleborn, but was sent to live as one to protect her. I cant remember what exactly she is but I do remember there is a scene where she has to go through some sort of transfomation (getting new powers?) and, if I'm remembering right, its painful and Snape goes to her and holds her... this some how links them.

I know its not much to go on, but I've been looking everywhere for this story! Does anyone know where I can find it?
